STORY ABOUT US

Girls Shall Rise is a flagship program by Bright Light Projects with focus on providing educational support, skills training and advocacy for Survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) specifically violence against women and children,

Commercial Sex workers, and other vulnerable girls and women. GSR has achieved major milestones in transforming the lives of women and young girls in local communities in Sierra Leone. This is an opportunity for BLP to showcase it’s model on GBV advocacy, policies and programs and impact in line with any National GBV guidelines during the Generation Equality Forum scheduled for June 30 – July 2, 2021 in Paris.
